Industrial Bowls Competition Starts
Crediton Bowling Club
The club has always run a competition each August for the local companies in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Crediton. This year we have 62 local businesses playing against each other in a knock out competion.
Peter Martin is our organiser and does an amazing job of sorting out the roat odf play and is very good at fixing things when rain stops play etc. There are full rinks for nearly a fortnight at the club and all the supporters of the businesses come down to cheer on their own teams. One bowler only is allowed in each team and has to bowl as lead.
The town businesses look forward in anticipation to this event and it is a really good seed ground for getting more bowlers into the club in the ensuing years. The photos are taken on the first evening and give a flavour of the event.

Car parks in the Town Square and at St Saviours Way are the nearest to the club. Local streets have time restraints up to 6pm. No parking in the library car park
