Crediton Bowling Club can boast further successes at Devon County, National and International level.

Rob Paxton has been selected as part of the team to play for Bowls England the BIBC International Series in July 2017. Rob also has the honour to have been selected by Bowls England to play in the outdoor 2016 World Championships in New Zealand this winter.

A trio from Crediton, Chris Marshall, Maggie Chaplin and Jill Heal are the Bowls Devon Champions for Two Wood Triples this year, beating a team from Tavistock in the final.

Runners up for the Bowls Devon Rinks Championship were Jill Heal, Mary Abbott, Muriel Scott and Joan Martin.

To complete the successes, the team of Rob Paxton, Chris Bond and Mary Abbott won the Bowls Devon Mixed Championship.

The Men’s Top Club team reached the Devon semi-finals. Devon Section 4 ladies, with several Crediton members playing, were runners up in the Devon Jubilee Trophy.

The club is very proud and supportive of all the bowlers who enter these competitions each year and fly the flag for Crediton.
