Crediton Bowling Club (CBC) is established with the aim of offering those interested in bowling an opportunity to meet, compete, learn the game and also socialise. It will strive to meet the needs of all members (full or social), whether playing or socialising. In line with Bowls England Policy, the following data protection is used by the club.

What data do we collect
The personal information referred to in this Policy may include name, address, email address and telephone number.
How do we use your data
In order to contact you regarding benefits of membership, managing subscriptions, notification of meetings, games (internal, friendlies, county or national competitions) and for responding to any communications from you.
Contact details of officers may be published on Fixture booklets and on the website.
Contact details of members may be passed on in inter-club friendly, county, or national competitions and given to organisers of said competitions as required.
How and When do we store your data
Data will be kept only for one year after the membership year ends (April).
Your data will be stored on password protected personal computers of Committee members of Crediton Bowling Club. It will be accessed by them for legitimate interests of the club. Contact details will be placed in a secure place within the club, for members to contact each other for internal competition fixtures only.
Crediton Bowling Club may retain historical archives indefinitely, for example but not limited to, records of meetings, fixture cards, and competition results.
Do we share your data
Other than above, we do not share your data with anyone else.
How can you access your data
Any person wishing to verify the information held by Crediton Bowling Club, or who can correct or update that information, may apply to the secretary.
