Crediton lies in the heart of Devon almost midway between Dartmoor and Exmoor.  It is surrounded by rolling farmland and wooded areas.

Coming from the North the quickest and most scenic route is to leave the M5 at junction 27 and follow the A371 to Tiverton.  Follow the Tiverton bypass to to A3071 and follow this to Crediton.
